This forum is intended to be a discussion and news page for all matters related to St George's Community Hydrotherapy Pool and the supporting Friends and Service Users (SURF) charitable group.
The site is moderated by the pool's owners and service providers, Peterborough City Council. In most instances, the pool manager will moderate the forum.
You must read and fully understand the rules of this site, and follow them when making a post or replying to a thread. A defence of "I have not read the rules" or "I do not understand the rules" will not be accepted. Please contact a moderator if you have a complaint or query.
Registration
Many of the posts and threads on this site are available for members of the public to read and take part in. However, you will need to register to be able to read and comment on some of the threads.
Registration is free and simple to do, and requires you to choose a username and a password, and confirm with a valid e-mail address. Please choose your username carefully, as you will not be able to change it at a later date.
You may only register with one identity. People suspected of registering different accounts under multiple identities will be banned from this forum and have their accounts removed.
The e-mail address that you use to register may be validated at various intervals. It is your responsibility to ensure that it remains valid and set to allow admin contact. If we cannot contact you via e-mail at any time, you membership will be terminated and you will need to re-register using a valid e-mail address.

These rules will also apply to private messaging as well as publicly available posts.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold us [the moderators] harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission(s) of your message(s). In the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you, we reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you). We also reserve the right to delete any message on this forum for any reason whatsoever, even though we are unable to review all the messages posted and are not responsible for the content of any of these messages.
Breaches of our Terms & Conditions will be dealt with as appropriate, from formal warnings and an update to your user warning rating (up to "3"), to suspensions and possible permanent exclusions. In extreme cases, legal action and reporting of ISP addresses may be necessary. If you disagree with any action taken by moderators, contact us with your complaint. Complaints posted directly to the forums will be deleted.
Members are also asked to not use the forum as a means of promoting political candidates, political parties, religions and other unrelated causes. St George's Community Hydrotherapy Pool remains politically and theologically neutral and we would like to continue ensuring that the facility remains a place open and welcome to everyone.
Disclaimer
If any abusive or offensive material is found you should contact a moderator in order that the material in question can be removed as quickly as possible, if this is appropriate. Neither the moderators, St George's Community Hydrotherapy Pool, Peterborough City Council or FreeForums.net can be held responsible for any false, offensive or otherwise unacceptable content on this message board. Health advice
Please note that we are not trained GPs or physiotherapists, and therefore cannot advise you accordingly. It is highly advised that for all personal medical issues, you contact your GP, private healthcare provider or NHS 111 at first instance. For advice on specific aquatic-based exercises for your condition, St George's Community Hydrotherapy Pool runs Personal Exercises Classes led by a Physiotherapist on Monday afternoons, which you can book by calling 01733 453583.
