Check out the Friends and Service Users (SURF) board on this site to read about the fantastic Social Return on Investment report, which they commissioned with the very kind assistance of the Peterborough Council for Voluntary Service (PCVS).
The summary for the investment period of the financial year 2016 concludes that (conservatively) there is an SROI ratio of 16:1, i.e. that for every £1 invested in St George's Community Hydrotherapy Pool, £16 of value (both social and economic) is generated. By comparison, Care & Repair services across the country achieve a ratio of around 3:1 [£3 of value for every £1 spent].
